About
Dennis started his investment career in 1973 working for DuPont Walston. In 1974 he joined Dean Witter as a retail broker. He advanced to become assistant office manager and compliance officer. In 1978 Dennis joined Morgan Stanley as the West Coast specialist dealing with restricted securities. In 1984 Bear Stearns offered Dennis the opportunity to head up an interdisciplinary financial group dedicated to financing the needs of Native American organzations. While at Bear Stearns, Dennis led the placement of over $300 million dollars of tax exempt financing issued by Indian Tribes. He has provided expert testimony to Congress on numerous occasions. He was also the founder of two workman's compensation insurance firms. In 1989 Dennis established his own financial advisory firm in Redmond, Washington Dennis' advice focuses on delineating client goals, resolving conflicts between perceptions of wealth, goals, time and resources, structuring the optimal investment plan to accomplish the goals and monitoring the success. Dennis has lectured both nationally and internationally on the subject of economic development on Native American Reservations, acted as an advisor to the Bureau of Indian Affairs, has completed a book on economic development on reservations. Dennis has been an advisor to the SEC on disclosure standards for financial derivatives, appeared as a guest commentator on CNBC, hosted his own investment radio program, Prior to entering the investment business Dennis was an officer in the United States Army serving as a helicopter pilot and field artillery officer. His service included a tour to Vietnam during which he was wounded in action. Dennis was cum laude graduate of University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa with degrees in Sociology, Psychology and History. His studies at the University Of Chicago Graduate School Of Business were interrupted by military service.
